Thank you, I’ll never give up the ‘tangles😎
Finding the right pens have always been my biggest challenge, but I’ve been using the pilot g-tec finepoint (0.4) for years. Hard to come by, but I got it shipped in 12packs. But now when everyone has started Zentangle'ing in Norway, my options have increased. I’ve done the latest drawings using these special Zentangle pens (http://ift.tt/1NmxEoZ), mostly the 0.1s. I’m not sure if I like them yet, but they are quick drying and doesn’t require a lot of force to use. My biggest problem with them is that the ink is quickly erased, and I use the eraser quite a lot (because I usually create guidelines with a pencil first).
As for the pencils and compasses, I try to keep them as sharp as possible. I even got a sharpener that I use to make the lead in my compass extra-fine.
I’ll try to post a better answer to this question in a post later, because I get it a lot. Great question!
